We are a part of the Wixarika community located in the town of Santa Maria Del Oro, in Tepic Nayarit, Mexico. We are 648 kilometers from the capital city of Mexico.
Our community has about 200 members a number families and we are working for the preservation of the culture of our people. Our purpose and goal is to preserve our mother language, traditions and culture.
