By purchasing any piece of traditional art work you are 100% supporting each artist directly as there is no middle man. Unfortunately the Wixárika community is extremely exploited by both domestic and foreign business middle men that force the Wixárika community to sell their art at a very low prices that are then sold at exuberant prices overseas or to tourists sometimes 300% the price they paid and none of that goes back to the artist or the community only into the pocket of the middle man. So, when you buy from our store you can be 100% certain that your money goes directly to its maker.
